Jax takes Mira shopping for clothes and junk food. Surprisingly (or not), it's Jax who wants the skirt. He even promises to pretend to not want to be there while she looks at clothes. |

Argh, I should have listened at the door. I should have listened from down the hall. Something! They were talking about me. I know it. What else would they be talking about?
Mom said they're staying for the long weekend, got a hotel room somewhere close by. Oh man, I've gotta find a place I can hide out. You can't be cool in front of your mother. You just can't...
And having a little sister doesn't help much either.

Logan has to conduct a parent-teacher conference with Mira's mother while Jean is indisposed. As it turns out, he says all the right things.

| 05/22 - Ain't nobody gonna take my car |

A 1969 Pontiac Trans Am convertible. White. Or... it was white. A long time ago. We might actually be able to afford it on our own, if we don't have to get it towed anywhere. If you're spending your own money, nobody can really say anything against you, right? Mom might help... maybe. If we front most of it, anyway.
I think my biggest problem, really, is that an ace stereo system will run like a thousand bucks or more! But it's a car. It's a convertible. And it'll probably be ours! Now I just need a driver's license. And to turn 16.

Amp does not dissuade Mira from sneaking out of school, but insists she accompany her as a bodyguard. Mira doesn't seem to mind. It's almost like they aren't awkward around each other anymore! |
